Step one - profiling
We always try to look at the vehicle with the mindset of a typical buyer. We don't stop at the year, make & model, we build up as accurate an understanding as possible of its pre-accident condition, ownership and service history.
Step two - market research
The next step is to look at external sources. Advertisements in the vehicle's local market, and of course an HPI check is required in order to check any previously recorded write-offs.
Step three - valuation
The results are collated and assessed in order to provide the most accurate valuation possible. One that takes fully into account the insured's need to replace their car in the market in which it was acquired.
Our aim…
We set out to treat customers fairly and not to inspire ‘haggling’, the value we give is exactly what we believe the vehicle to be worth.
